So I waited around at the end of the show to see if I could snag a set list or anything. There was 1 or 2 given out and the crew was clearing the stage. I believe a 3rd set list was still out and some guy was asking for it center stage row 1......the crew guy wasn't haven't it. I stayed a few minutes more and asked for a pick....one of the crew found one on the ground and gave it to me! Does anyone know if Paul or Tommy use this type of pick? The crew guy said it was a bass pick but it seems too flimsy. If anyone has any insight, I would appreciate it.

I got the exact pic from Tommy at a solo show when he was playing guitar (I've used the same ever since, love the weight). I do remember at the Midway show Tommy had the bright green Dunlap's on his mic stand, which I think are thicker and make more sense when using a pick playing bass. In my head I recalled seeing the neon green pics on the mic stand......so now I'm interested to figure out what mine is (or if he played). I thought I saw him playing "softer" during set but still with pic....maybe it was one of these.

i'd say that's paul or dave's pick. .50 is light. i use .88 for electric and .60 for acoustic.

The guitar tech for the hold steady spent their set flicking picks into the crowd. The guy flicked at least twenty of them towards the crowd. The picks were different colors, lots of them fell short and ended up on stage. I'd say you got the hold steady singers pick.

pbcrowe, did notice that too. Trying to dig around for more info.....I'm under same impression as you, probably not one of Paul's or Tommy's

I have the same exact pick that I got at one of Paul's 2002 shows, in NYC.
