One can only hope.
I realized on Tuesday that for the first time in my toob experiences of the Mats, that someone - finally! - captured live video and sound with some nod to quality. (HD even!) The fuzzy old American Music Awards appearance is the best we've had to date. Evidence exists that clean cuts of the SNL spots lie rotting in a vault beneath 30 Rock, but all I see anymore are the messy 32nd generation copies.
Otto Zithromax did such a fun job on CFMT cobbling together footage from fan vids and produced bits. Would it be too much to ask Otto - in the age of GoPro - to mash up 90 minutes? Or are you going to run the camera in front of a PA speaker for the duration of Bastards of Young?

2015 is gonna be huge for the Mats. New authorized book, new album, DVD, and most likely a proper tour of some sort. There's also a book in the works by former roadie Bill Sullivan. That's the one I really can't wait for.

They should rush a DVD/CD out in time for the Christmas cash-grab, no need to fuss around too much with slick editing and whatnot. Sign a deal with Eagle Rock Entertainment who do wonderful work with DVD/CD releases for the Stones. They could likely get Bob Clearmountain to do the re-mix if needed. It would certainly sell respectably in physical format, due to the nature of the 'Mats/Westerberg's legacy/fanbase - with no official concert releases other than 'Come Feel Me Tremble'- and their current re-emergance and stature.

Not only did they film Saturday, but the same crew did all three Riotfest shows.
