waiting patiently for the Westerbergian aspect of this thread to materialize and justify its place in this category Bob Mould currently earns part of his living as a writer for one of the professional wrestling organizations. Bob Mould and Paul Westerberg once shared a stage covering "Ace of Spades." Therefore, Paul Westerberg is directly linked to the world of wrestling and this thread is on-topic. Good to see those philosophy classes weren't totally wasted. ;D

Good save Monkee!
Is wrestling much different than the Replacements? I mean you have guys on a stage surrounded by rabid fans. There is a beginning but no idea when the ending is going to come. You don't know exactly what to expect - you could be seeing a show for the ages or one that thrills and disappoints. There's a chance you'll see blood, chairs thrown and who knows what - anything goes.
Then there's wrestling...same thing.

Mould doesn't write for wrestling anymore. He worked for WCW in the mid-90's and left as they were beginning their decline before the WWE bought them out.
