If Paul was to start up a supergroup like The Traveling Wilburys, what other members would you think might make for a great band? And you can't name Tommy, Chris, Slim or any dead musician. (Same goes for people that were in Paul's solo bands.) He'll need a drummer, bass player and lead guitar. Other instruments are optional. I don't have my answer yet, but feel free to start without me.

Keith Richards and Mick Jones (The Clash Mick Jones; not the Foreigner Mick Jones) on guitars, Mike Watt on bass, Bill Berry on drums, Tom Waits on keyboards...

anarkissed's line up sounds pretty cool. I'd pay to see that.
Here's my take. I think this line up could come up with something cool musically:
Paul - Guitar, Harmonica & Vocals Tom Verlaine - Guitar & Vocals Nick Lowe - Bass & Vocals Charlie Watts - Drums Dr. John - Piano/organ & Vocals

Paul Guitar and Vocals Mick Jones Guitar and Vocals Tommy Bass and Vocals Topper Headon Drums There's also a kind of symmetry: 1 member from the original band dead and 1 member now into art.

How about The Feuding Wilburys?
Paul - Vocals, Guitar Ryan Adams - Guitar, Vocals Bob Mould - Bass (making Bob play bass and not letting him sing would probably make him angrier) Grant Hart - Drums, Vocals
