Fun show as always last night. Pretty good turnout, especially for a Wednesday. Backed by a full band (and his wife), played lots of "One Man Mutiny", some B & P and some Perfect, no covers and I think nothing from VGH. Tommy in good spirts as usual, very approachable, hanging out before and after the show.

Awesome, thanks for the recap. Going to the show tomorrow night in Vienna near DC and gives me an idea of what to look forward to.

that should be fun...that's at Jammin' Java. It's a nice little club. Pretty small, though, IIRC, unless they renovated it. Don't think I can make it, so give us a review..

bside, he is or will be playing in the back of a coffee shop! They do have a nice stage set up, though, a litle more professional than you think but it's still a coffee shop with beer and wine.

I was also at the show in Boston! and it definitely was awesome, tons of fun! Mike Gent was great too, he had a new / not-yet-released Figgs record with him that I'm about to check out.

Saw Tommy last night in Vienna. Cool club about at capacity, definitely a venue AND a coffee shop (not just a couple of stools in a corner, had me worried FreeRider). 60 Minute Dogfish on tap...thank goodness for gracious designated driver girlfriends. Tommy's set was short, around an hour. He played a good mix of One Man Mutiny, VGH, Perfect and Bash and Pop. Started off acoustic solo and then had the band join him. He was in good spirits, seemed to do some impromptu songs for a friend in the audience and just had fun. He left and for the encore came back out and did "Never Aim to Please" and "Friday Night is Killing Me." Afterwards he hung out by his merch and I was able to pick up his latest on LP and the new 7", which both sound fantastic.

Hey, very cool! Glad it was a decent turn out for Tommy....it's been awhile so I don't recall how big the venue is in the back. but if I remember, it's got a decent stage set up. Hope the drive back down I-95 wasn't too bad.
