Sounds like they're going through that same "What's his deal?", "He doesn't owe us anything!", "I never said he did..." discussion that roiled through here a while back...Hope no one gets hurt...Don't read that link if you're afraid it might be a "downer" or "boring"...

This is the point where we all start theorizing what kind of dog he has, right? ;D

It's gotta be something medium-to-large, of indistinct parentage...Some kinda hound or retriever mix, maybe like those dogs on the cover of ASD...I'd be really disappointed if it was anything pedigreed or manicured...

Mutt has to have "Westerberg hair." Dog must also be a "shambolic" barker.

And perhaps has a seeing-eye dog sister to make fun of in a song.

I was wondering if any of you Minn. hometowners ever see or hear about him? Or possibly have any connection to him thru his kids school.

I think we should leave his private life alone. That's clearly what he wants.

This all reminds me too much of the "Get a Life!" sketch on SNL with William Shatner where the fanboys stake/stalk out Shatner's horse farm and know about the birth of a baby horse before Shatner does.

But there's a line we shouldn't cross with Paul. I don't wanna know where his kid goes to school or anything else about his families private life. I think he deserves that much of our respect. If he ever goes on tour again and sits by the bus after the shows we can ask him what kind of dog he has. I'm sure he'll tell us.

Nothing malicious To answer this in a way that doesn't infringe on his privacy - yes, people do see him around town. I have friends whose kids have played sports against his child. I know others who work at trusted retailers who earn his trust by giving him his space and treat him like a regular customer.
