Well I've somehow managed to wangle some time off work to get along to see the film. If any of you do manage to get along it would be good to have a chat - I'll be outside the front having a smoke before and after ...

Well Kathy first of all apologies and could you move this to the CMO thread. Secondly what a great film and credit to Hansi Oppenheimer for getting the whole project off the ground. Thirdly I felt a bit like Lee Harvey Oswald sitting in a cinema on a Thursday afternoon. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Don't take this wrong, but I'm not sure why you would thank Hansi. Yes, she started a "fan-based" movie a few years ago, but after filming some interviews she felt overwhelmed and abandoned the project. Color Me Obsessed director Gorman Bechard was given her footage, but decided to create his own vision and didn't utilize any of her work. Any thanks really needs to go to him and his talented crew.

Well, I think it's fair to thank Hansi because (aside from simply thanking her for the work she put into it) without her initial attempt at her film, it's possible that this film never gets made.
I'm curious what Gorman would have to say about this; i.e. whether hearing about Hansi's work (and later obtaining the rights to it) made him more likely to actually do the film that eventually became CMO.

Oh, it's fair enough to include her in the thanks, but I just wanted to clear up any misconceptions randolph may have had. His post made it look like it was Hansi's movie, which is obviously not true.
