All that talk about "49:00" made me want to watch CFMT again...Some highlights for me: - "Man Without Ties"..."Valentine", where he starts off singing the second verse, looks sheepish, says "That ain't right", and starts over..."Crackle and Drag"...The point in "Unsatisfied" where he pulls off his shades, tosses them aside, and sings "Look me in the eyes", then says "Is there anything there?"...The moment in "Can't Hardly Wait" where he pauses near the end, and the audience sails a capello into the chorus..."I Will Dare"...Hey, is that one brief shot of Paul going into the audience at one of the in-stores the infamous "Sonny Bono/That's it!" wrapping his hands around the heckler" incident?...The part where he says something like "I could no more play that than I could Uriah Heep"? Uriah Heep?!! That's one of the things I love about him...Sometimes feel like only me and Paul could possibly appreciate that reference...

I haven't seen it in awhile but here's a cool clip. The thing I remember from it is when Paul sits by himself singing along to an old blues song before he goes onstage.
And also the video of him drumming in the basement and trashing the mirror during Everything Goes Wrong.

I just watched it a few weeks ago too. My highlights are similar to those of Anarkissed. Many of those, the "that ain't right" version of Valentine, the Uriah Heep line (someone requested Answering Machine I think) and the audience singing "Can't Hardly Wait" (My hand made the movie during this part, I'm no Scott Hudson yet though) while Paul had a cigar were all recorded from his show at the Barrymore Theater in Madison. This was also the show with the advice from Johnny to "be brave and concentrate". Not included in the movie was a terrific rendition of "Here Comes a Regular" with an added verse about trying to call Tommy that ended with the line "Do you think he called me back, no fu__ing way". The show ended with him flat on his back doing a blistering version of "Customer". Easily one of the best shows I've ever seen. Ten minutes in you forgot he didn't have a band and never missed it.

The Madison show was great! It was cool to see all the footage from it in the movie.

All good points and highlights! One of my favorites is Paul singing and playing on a table top.
Table Top Balance Score: Paul: 9.5 Bono on SNL: 6.5 (plus 2 extra points for good recovey) Me at Paul's Great American Music Hall show with HOF: 10 (But 5 points taken away for being asked by security to get down off the table).
