Just received a tweet that there's a Westerberg interview in the latest issue of Spin. Has anybody seen this yet?

The March issue with Courtney Love on the cover? I don't see Westerberg anywhere. You can see the whole issue on a few digital magazine sites.

No, it's the April issue with Billie Joe Armstrong on the cover. I guess it just shipped to subscribers.

So, does an interview mean he is gearing up to do something? New Album? tour to support 49:00 (call me crazy)? I visit this site once every couple of days hoping against hope I'll see the big "Paul to tour the east coast, plans to stay at fans homes post."

I would say no to that, as there's no way Spin could hide news like that until publication. Even daily newspapers generally print info that the fans know long before the official announcement.

Way to crush a boys dreams. Thanks. I'm sure years from now when I'm a lonely and bitter alcoholic I'll thank you for opening my dewey eyes to the harsh reality of . . . well . . . reality.

Huh, funny, I come on here every couple of days hoping against hope that I'll see the big quote " Paul to tour, skips the east coast and gives Fresno, California some love."

Read it. He's not going anywhere to play live. Can you say F-U-C-K-E-D?

I'm sort of blending two threads here, but maybe this issue of Spin will finally prompt the clowns who have the voting authority at the RRHOF to finally, seriously think about putting the Replacements in. Not that nobody around here cares, it just always seems to come up around this time of year. Guilty here, too.

So is it really a conversation between Armstrong and Westerberg? That almost seems designed to provoke Paul. I'm already imaging him in grumpy, eye-rolling mode.
Same with Gerard Way and Iggy Pop. You either get to be the gracious, respected elder (and who wants that?) or you act like a dick.

Oh and FU Spin, although I have a free subscription, I didn't get the magazine with that cover on it.

Holey Moly, Westerberg & Weller in the same issue - that's 2/3'S of the Triumvirate of Pauls'. Maybe they all got my memo and are preparing to record together.
