I've listened to "Folker" quite a few times, and I've found myself hearing glimpses of other songs and artists in various tracks.
"Jingle" - Sounds like it could be on The White Album, somewhere between "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" and "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill.
"My Dad" - The first verse on this one reminds me of the verse from Cheap Tricks "Surrender," just slower.
"Lookin' Up In Heaven" - During the final chorus of this one, I swear I hear the influence of The Squeeze's Difford and Tilbrook.
"Anyway's All Right" - Has That Springsteen "Atlantic City," distant, reverb drenched background vocal sound going on.
"23 Years Ago" - Sticky Fingers era Stones. Has that acousticy "Moonlight Mile" vibe, with a nice Keith like solo.
"As Far As I Know" - early Beatles, with a rawer, more upfront sound.
"How Can You Like Him?" - The chorus on this one reminds me of another song, but I can't quite put my finger on it yet.
"Breathe Some New Life" - Once again the Stones. The acoustic guitar opening sounds like it could lead into "You Can't Always Get Want you Want" at any moment.
Does anyone else find these songs reminding them of something else?

The very beginning (and maybe the bridge too, need to listen again) of "Folk Star" sounds like it's going break into that Neil Diamond song "my baby loves me, yes, yes she does."

Listen to Paul's cover of 'Postively 4th Street' and you'll have your answer.
I was thinking the same thing but everytime I find a 'sound-alike' I'm told I'm insane, or a know-nothing so I just shut up about these matters.
'And Your Bird Can Sing', maybe a little.
