After reading all the complaints about the ham-handed remastering on the last four reissues, I planned on just buying the extra tracks off amazon. But then there were even more complaints about how the download versions of the albums all had extremely low volume levels. Does anyone know if this has been fixed yet?

Not to my knowledge--bought the 'Photo' track off the iTunes 'PTMM' reissue 2 days ago--long story; have a copy of 'Boink' and have been in a running argument with a friend about whether or not it's the same track. (Bill, if you're reading, I recant; I think it's the same take at the original speed.) The volume is very low. The 'Tim' tracks were OK.

So I downloaded the extra tracks from iTunes and Pleased To Meet Me is the only one that's stilled screwed up. And when I say "screwed up" I mean you can't hear it. The volume levels are so low that I can't believe that Amazon and iTunes are still selling it. I hit the "report a problem" thing on all the PTMM tracks, so hopefully they'll resolve it as they did with the other albums.
