I'm going to do my best to record the interview and the show, but this will be my first attempt at something like this. My wife will actually be recording it, I'll be at the show. All she needs to do is press a button though.
What I am doing will result in one big Mp3 file.
I will need to split the songs up into individual MP3's later which might take a me a few weeks unless it is really easy. Again, I am a rookie, but will try.

Thanks - I actually clicked on the link to listen to it if you have a MAC and it worked - even though I have a PC. Is Paul on now choosing this music? I haven't heard him speak yet.

I think I've got the stream too, sounds like the No Thanks box set is on shuffle play. Anyone else getting buffering breaks every couple minutes? I've got DSL but still getting them.

I'm doing ok with the buffering on dsl. I have the Oscars on til Paul gets there...when did Robin Williams become the anti-funny? That's just sad.

when did Robin Williams become the anti-funny? That's just sad. Not watching the Oscars but did catch Robin Williams on the Spirit awards last night announcing the best film...he totally stepped all over the winning producer, and finally willingly walked off stage so the dude could give his acceptance speech. Like he doesn't get enough stage time, he has to intrude on this guy's bright shining moment? not buffering much, and I am running wireless off my DSL connection. hopefully, someone can figure out how to record the stream...

This is pretty much one of the cooler things I've ever listened to. Almost makes up for being bedridden last night and unable to attend the show in Anaheim (bronchitis).

Paul when asked if he saw the Pixies on their latest "reunion" tour: "I saw 'em 20 years ago and they were pretty much statues. I can't imagine they'd be much different now".

I love the Pixies but I must say when I saw them (before this reunion tour), they literally didn't move on the stage. I mean, I don't need a Backstreet Boys dance routine but it was weird. they sounded good but it was a strange show.

gotta love technology:
I was just in the backyard listening to the interview while playing catch with my 6 year old - just as he was saying how one of the only things his dad ever taught him was to play catch (and make deals).

I've figured out how to record this and, at this point, I have a very consistent stream. If it continues, I think I should get a pretty good recording out of this. Let's knock on wood.
