What is the significance of 2545 Modesto or the other house? I know the Let it Be house.
Thanks for the pictures.

Great pics. But I was wondering about the significance of the Garfield house too. I used lived in a tiny efficiency apartment a block down the street for two years ('89 - '91).

I've put a handful of my tons of shows on my blog (http://scotthudson.blogspot.com). They're not necessarily my best shots but a representative sample, along with a few shots of Traci and I playing tourist in front of First Avenue.
I also have some 3 minute video clips if anybody is interested. The sound quality of my Canon's mic leaves something to be desired, though.

I'm not sure of the significance of the Modesto apartmets. Someone from the Mats lived there and/or partied there. And if it was a Mats party, I'm sure there's a story somewhere.
2541 is where Grant Hart and Bob Mould lived. Grant wrote a GREAT song with the same name.
Thanks for sharing the pictures, hudson.

you have all probably noticed by now, but the night three pics are up there too. I'm still working on writing a complete review, but I'll get it on the blog as soon as I'm done: karlaludzack.blogspot.com/you'll find the edited version here eventually: www.howwastheshow.com/

i was upstairs the saturday night and shot Crackle & Drag and First Glimmer on a digital video camera and it came out quite well .. How is it that people were getting in with digital cameras? Didn't they have the usual security patting you down or didn't they care?

I brought in a digital camera on Friday night. I got scolded by security when I took my first picture but nothing more than a slap on the wrist. On Sat. the security gaurd found the camera in my coat pocket and told me to not use the flash? Pretty loose. You could see people filming and recording both nights.

I got mine in pretty easy both nights. On the first night, my front row seat next to Faith was also right next to a security guard. He didn't care when I took photos but he came up and bitched when I made my second video. A few minutes later another security guy complained about the flash. After that nobody bothered me.

As far as I know, none of our historic theaters have a problem with pictures, but they usually ask that you don't use a flash. If a particular artist doesn't want pictures taken (Tommy Stinson for instance) then they will post a notice saying that only those with press credentials will be allowed to take pictures.
