Why do the Gear Daddies get so much time? ok - i was wondering the same damn thing. a little gear daddies goes a loooooong way. i am, however, excited by the long golden smog set. wonder who will be in the band. mars on drums?

I doubt if Chris will be playing...and I hate to say it but Paul and Bob Mould will probably be long gone by this time. I'll bet it's most of the Jayhawks (Gary Louris and Marc Perlman at least) plus Kraig Johnston along with Dan Murphy. If Michael Bland is playing with Soul Asylum (I thought I read that when it was announced he was playing with Paul) they'll probably have him on drums...or it'll be the Jayhawks regular drummer. And I'm sure Dave Pirner will jump onstage to sing a song or two.
And maybe a Boquist or two...or how about somebody from Trip Shakespeare?
