On my lunch break, I stopped in a bookstore and saw PW in Acoustic Guitar World magazine. It has Jeff Tweedy from Wilco on the cover. Paul is in the article on the top 100 acoustic guitar albums. He lists his top 5 acoustic albums as being:
Lester Young - (forget which album) Bob Dylan - Another Side of Bob Dylan Joni Mitchell - Blue Burl Ives Robyn Hitchcock - I dream of Trains
I thought that was a rather eclectic mix and revealing about his influences to some degree. I may have the order of his top 5 mixed up too.

Hey, no free ride on leaving out which Burl Ives LP either! Oh, so that's how it is on this board, eh? Taking pot shots at my screen name and my willingness to provide more minutiae about Paul for everyone to overanalyze and argue about? What, you can't go to a magazine rack yerself? I gotta figure the Burl Ives is the album that has "Mr. Rabbit" on it....I find it interesting though that Paul included jazz great Lester Young on that list. I wasn't aware that he liked jazz.
