Farther Along is a great intro, or check out "Return of the Grievous Angel," a tribute album with many great artists singing many great songs.
And GP does for western wear what PW does for thrift wear.

If you can listen to Gram sing "Sleepless Nights" and not be moved by his vocals, then it is clear that you can not like Gram Parsons. But, among serious music lovers and musicians of all types, you would be alone.
You must listen critically before criticizing, honestly some of you who post here are so closed minded and small, it is like entering some weird orthodox religion...

Well said....as mentioned before Im no country music fan but a huge GP fan. Along with Sleepless Nights his version of Love Hurts is pretty strong as well. Thats another thing about Gram...he really doesnt have that good of voice nor is he really a good guitar player but he gets so much out of what he does have that it almost reaches into your soul. From that aspect he's not too different then PW.
