What "shore" is he talking about in "MPLS"?
The lyrics are so geographically specific in places, then he starts in about the girls down by the shore, and I'm lost.
A city lake shore? But nobody says that, in MPLS anyway: it's the lake or the lakes, but never the "shore." The river's called the riverfront or just the river. Up north you have the "North Shore" of Lake Superior but that's pretty far away.
Unless someone has a better idea, I'll have to continue thinking of MPLS's "shore" as just a lame Beach Boys knock off.

well all that i can figure out is that he only did it one time. . . so perhaps it's lake specific? which one i haven't a clue. probably not prior lake.
