Did Paul appear on The Larry Sanders Show? I thought that show was total genius. If he did i've got to see that episode.

They didn't let him trash the green room like Elvis Costello though.

The best Larry Sander's episode was the one were David Duchovny was a G-A-Y stalker.

The g-a-y stalker episode was great, but my favorite was the episode with Hank's sex tape.
Also, one of my favorite lines was Artie's description of the bitchy network exec: "I swear I killed that woman in Korea."
Oh, but yeah, the Paul episode was cool. The need to put the rest of that series out on DVD.

The Hank's sex tape episode is may fave too. The bit where he tells the guy that played Fonzy to go fuck himself is fantastic. That show is truly one of the best things ever made.

I never saw the Paul epidode! I'm working on it, I TIVO the show every time it's on. I'm bound to come across it.
When Artie, says to Hank " Jesus, Be a man and get out there, or i'll put my foot on your neck and piss in your good ear!"
i almost peed myself.

That show was indeed one of the greatest things in the history of the world. And 2 of my biggest musical heroes - PW and Costello - featured in it. Larry and Hank were both superb, and there were many other great characters in it,but the real star for me was Artie.

Legend has it that the producers wanted PW to have some lines, but he didn't want to do it.
Larry Sanders is one of the all-time classics. One of the many memorable lines:
Hank, to Elvis C. (the episode where EC sells Hank his "piece of shit-mobile"): "Tally-ho, fuckface!"
