I like it. The pull out booklet with lyric snippets is cool, and even the photo of PW "Adjusting" his glasses.
Why does he flip the bird so much? Its always fun/ny though.
Only minor complaints is the red overkill.

the "centerfold" picture looks like "gas station paul" or maybe "middleweight contender paul".

I don't have it with me, but there's one picture that looks like "serial killer paul" -- the one where you're like, hey did I spill soda on this...and then you realize it's supposed to look stained.
Paul's dad was very handsome!

Paul's dad was very handsome! And that Wild Child shirt was also on the photo on the back (If memory is right?) I think he looked pretty ragged in all of them, except as a 2 year old.

It can't be any more serial killer than the Stereo cover. I thought it was his 'tough but sexy' look. I don't get the 'Wild Thing' shirt one, is that supposed to be ironic? Overall, probably the best packaging since 14 Songs. I awwwed when I opened it up to the one of him and his dad, then I saw the middle finger one. Yep, that's the Paul we all know and love. Sweetheart one minute, flipping us off the next.

i *heart* the packaging. when Webboy (a co-worker) opened up the CD to see that picture of Paul giving the finger he said, "you two gotta be soulmates or something." because, around these parts, i'm known for my my creative and consistent use of the very same finger.

Did I read about this somewhere else? oh probably. i'm not very original and tend to paraphrase myself quite a bit. but you ain't lived until you've seen the tip-toed double whammy finger.

but you ain't lived until you've seen the tip-toed double whammy finger. I'm imagining something like Fred Flintstone's bowling approach, without the ball.

The printed snippet from "As Far As I Know" bothers me: "Compared to your eyes the stars in the sky's are dull"
Surely someone at Vagrant has passed 8th grade english.
Maybe the stars have eyes? I'm confused. Hold me.

Well, I loathe digi-packs but, that rather big grumble aside, the photography and presentation is rather lovely. Paul should wear a shirt and tie more often - he looks swell! But whats with the cigarette in the centrefold photo?

I still can't quite believe he put a baby picture of himself in. No problem with it, but he's always seemed so private and concealing of his private life -- will the next one have the family Xmas card?
