I just heard this while I was on hold. Is this for real, or have I lost my mind?

Okay I called.
Was she able to help you with your questions about your home ovulation test?
She seemed like a woman who really enjoys her work.

on my rapidly growing list of favorite Big Wheel quotes, I'm gonna have to place this one at number two, behind the one about the strap-on...

Great. Now that you have acknowledged it she is gonna get me twice as bad.
It's worth it though.

Naw, that was too perfect. Even our lil' Lizzy McGuire has to give you props for that one.

zook. my picture is of a woman wielding an axe, so if you must keep calling me "Lizzy", please let it be Lizzy Borden. Otherwise the cringe factor is overwhelming.
and BW. when have I ever given you grief? we have 'she said' together - and that's huge, right?

Liza - I always wondered why you never called me out on that ;D I originally was going for the cringe factor but over time it just became my pet name for you. Besides, I rather like the image of you as Lizzy Borden - of course only in the positive way - and I'm not sure I can call you anything different. Calling you E reminds me too much of that singer with the that Hello Cruel World song and I don't like full names. Liz seems too much like Liz Taylor and calling you Pooky just feels wrong. Nope, Liza or Lizzy is it - your choice.

I heard that muzac version in Long's Drugs the other day. They have a version of Can't Hardly Wait that's in rotation also.

Longs is a drugstore chain. Like a CVS out there I think. It's really great listening to Mats lite while you're shopping for sundry items like toothpaste and boxed wine.

whateverthef*ck, i just have to draw the line at Lizzy McGuire. . . Fair enough though no guarantees a Liz Hurley, Lizzy Dole or Beth reference won't come out on bad days.

I just heard this while I was on hold. Is this for real, or have I lost my mind? Dates back to at least 2000, when someone posted about it on the Skyway site: www.theskyway.com/issues/075mar0901.txt

Liz, be nice... TTBO probably spent a couple of hours going thru those back issues of the skyway to find that for you... the least you could do is read it...

I should have said it was someone named Jessie so you could scan down for her name. I'm not saying it's old hat ... I'd kill to hear it myself. I just googled for "muzak Westerberg" hoping to find PW listed on the official muzak site. No such luck.
I did see a muzak van the other day though. What do muzak vans haul around ... empty cans of canned muzak?
