I got the 14 song book when it was released. eh, i say.
I got the "i will dare" 12" & the "i'm in trouble" b side "if only you were lonely" single on Ebay. (as well as a dinning room table, Tix to the Bowery show & some good Steve Earle boots. I love ebay too.

i got "i want my money back" and one of the original hand stamped copies of "stink" (even though it sucks) from ebay after losing both in a messy break up.
the songbook version of 14 songs is most certainly worth it. one of the best pieces of cd packaging i've ever come across.

To further the Superdrag praise on this board, "Last Call for Vitriol" is a brilliantly packaged disk. I hope el goodo backs me up on that one. i got "i want my money back" and one of the original hand stamped copies of "stink" (even though it sucks) from ebay after losing both in a messy break up. the songbook version of 14 songs is most certainly worth it. one of the best pieces of cd packaging i've ever come across.

I agree with the packaging.....but man that album let me down, especially for being the last one....: (
previous 3 were much better at least to my ears....1. Valley, 2. Head Trip. 3. Regretfully....
thats just me though...but again....GREAT PACKAGING is MUCH AGREED!!!

What did you pay for the "book" version of 14 songs?
I am just wondering. i thought it was kind of rare (I have one) and then I saw the DVD and that 14 songs book was the autographed item of choice for folks. Must have been lots more of them than I thought.

That's a fine deal. I mean hardly more than a new CD. Congrats on your purchase.

Also got the "14" book on ebay - cost me a little more, about $30. Wanted to have it ever since I saw someone get it signed on CFMT.

what does the book version of 14 have? what clash/strummer stuff have you got this way? what's the latest mats/pw on vinyl (not counting DMS)? not sure about the 14 songs thing, as i haven't received it yet. i am aware that there is an interview with paul in there, but beyond that... oh, i've picked up a ton of clash/strummer vinyl on ebay & in local stores. stuff like the coma girl & redemption song 7" picture discs, 45 rpm single of know your rights b/w first night back in london, the cost of living ep, this is england 12" single, give 'em enough rope lp, rock the casbah 12" single b/w mustapha dance, + other stuff. good question on the paul/mats stuff on vinyl. i am aware that everything up to dtas is on vinyl (i don't think i have ever seen asd on vinyl). with the exception of the grandpaboy i want my money back b/w undone & dms (i have both), i am not aware of any other solo paul being out on vinyl.
