Paul is the Artist of the Day all day Thursday, March 11, 2004. I would hope so...otherwise it would be Artist S of the day.

Wasn't Paul artist of the day a few months ago? Or maybe it was another radio station.

I had forgotten about this until I needed to plug my headphones into my computer at work to listen to a webinar and when it was over, I remembered about this and man, this is a GREAT station!! The first song I heard when I tuned in was a Graham Parker/Lucinda Williams duet. I think I'm in love.

This is a cool station. They just played "My Daydream" and then followed it with "Please Please Me." But just like Tom Petty, the Beatles totally stole from Paul.

Thanks Kathy. I listened at work and it was great to hear Paul's music on the radio. WLIR, which was WDRE, was the only NY radio station that ever played Paul's music and it's gone now. It's now a Latino station. If it wasn't for WDRE playing the Mats in the late 80s, I never would have heard of Paul.

I also first heard the Mats on WLIR. It must have been when I was about 11, and they played I Will Dare all the time. Who knew I'd be this obsessed 20 years later.
