Hey, nice post! That's interesting to see little sister does voice over work....
(I'm on the east coast, so I've not heard her show or her voice.)

and also has a sense of humor like a certain brother of hers:
Her attitude changed when she heard about the Current. "I shot [program director] Steve Nelson an e-mail that said, 'Dude, you know I'm not dead and I'm not under a bridge drinking Scope - yet.' "

The Current's active online use has been a challenge. "That community is so strong you're literally being critiqued as you go. In what other job can you say something dumb and immediately 50 people write, 'She's so stupid'? I played Foghat's 'Slow Ride' the other day because I thought it needed to be heard, and people were immediately stirred up."It seems an unease with the Internet and a fondness for Fog'at also run in the family.

Ouch, sorry wolf.

Yeah, I really dig her show. Glad they stream it online for the non-locals. Her Rake columns are pretty funny too.

I read a bio of PW's sister that indicated she was born in New England (Mass., maybe?). If telling a few fibs and being coy is a family trait, then all is understood. But just wondered if Paul was born some place other than Minnesota, or if the family moved and came back, etc. Always assumed PW was completely minneapolis born and raised. Anybody got an answer to stuff that's none of my business?

I thought this tidbit from her bio was interesting: "From 1998-2001 she hosted the local music show, Popular Creeps."
Was Chris Mars taking a jab at her?
