Her exact quote: "It's something that we talk about doing. I would definitely say that that door is open." youtu.be/LH-fie8wih0

I saw her this past Friday in Somerville / Boston Mass. Great show, with a new record out of Olivia Newton-John covers. I suggest checking out her previous effort, "Pussycat". One of the best records out last year.

The ONJ covers album is really great. My record of the year so far. There's also a companion limited edition 7" with cover art by Paul.
Also, the reissue of her solo debut Hey Babe that just came out sounds incredible on vinyl. A great time to be a Juliana Hatfield fan.
Now if she and Paul were to collaborate but get her band to back them up......

Liked her since the Blakes...wrote this in response to that damned Facebook 'Matsgroup giving her a ton of grief a few years back before the bastards banned me. LowerthanLoFi.bandcamp.com/track/good-on-ya-julianaThough they allow the fellatio of the Googoo's at every chance and banned me for calling out absolute horrid takes regarding even worse music...they absolutely have zero respect for Juliana and have allowed some pretty disgusting things to be said about her which is pathetic. disgusting imo.

Why would people say disgusting things about Juliana? Have I missed some story of 'bad behavior'? I am really looking forward to hearing her take on ONJ. The best cover I ever heard of Olivia was Vic Chesnutt doing 'have you never been mellow'.

I was listening to WAY different music than ONJ in the 70's and 80's so being a Hatfield fan, it's interesting/enlightening having reason to take a closer look at Newton-Johns' music. The interview chrischris posted sheds a lot of light on all this. Very cool.
I really like The I Don't Cares CD so I really hope Paul and Juliana get something going together again. Would love that!

I really like The I Don't Cares CD I listened to it in full again a couple of days ago, and it's even better than I remembered. One of the better things he's done.

Agree, would love to see them do something more, Paul has gone back into silence mode. Anything to draw him out would be good.

I would love it if Juliana and Paul did another album together. I've been listening to "Wild Stab" a lot lately and I like it even more than when it came out. Several of those songs get an extra play. Great stuff!

Now if she and Paul were to collaborate but get her band to back them up there you go! yes, make a real album not just release another basement tape.

I would love to hear the I Don't Cares Pt 2. It sounded like they had a decent amount of material back when that Spin article was published.
I'm still remembering how great it was to hear "Back" for the first time after such a long drought after 49 and Glove Boys..

Completely thought Paul 's sitting on a ton of unreleased material. Julianna became his editor and they released a great record. The videos. Drywood.garage...ready for a renaissance of why he's one of America's mostly hidden thinkers, writers...
C'mon Julianna...get to work lol.
