Did learn that Dave Wagner and Steve Hunter played (uncredited) on Train Kept a Rollin for Aerosmith. Those two have an interesting history. I think they played on more than just that, as outside of Tyler's vocals Aerosmith members were barely on their first two albums.

It would be a riot to see video of PW making this crazy recording. The music is pretty cool. Those voices he uses sound like people I have known or heard before so the concept makes me smile. The dialog is nuts and over the top with the f-bomb but its funny and there are people that talk like that. I thought this download was dumb the first time I listened to it in the car, but the second time through the whole thing grew on me and I like the music. That booming voice after love you in reverse reminds me of the silly stuff Harry Nielsen did on son of Schmillsson.

I think on one level GBLS pushes the limits of tedium ala Andy Kaufman.I wonder if Grandpaboy and Tony Cliftons paths have ever crossed.Atleast Paul had the decency to call it a joke,Kaufman would never do that.

Never followed aerosmith, but knew of wagner and hunter from Rock N Roll Animal. Sounds like Ezrin saw them as the "go to " guys for dueling guitars. Anyway, more I hear Last Stand the more I sort of like, but you have to have a 35 minute drive in front of you.

Mr. Cigarette is the standout for me, love the twangy version best.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOrG1r3S6ZATom Waits press conference that reminds me a little of Grandpaboys Last Stand! If you haven't seen it,uh...here it is! Come to think of it,Nighthawks at the Diner was a studio album that was made to seem like a live show.
