Thanks, it's been quite a while since I have seen this. I love when Don Was pops up right around the seven minute mark. He is remembered as one of the polished, big time producers Paul worked with and seems stoned out of his mind in this interview. Edit: Just noticed he worked on a Ziggy Marley album that was released in the same year

My husband just texted me to tell me that a cover of Swinging Party was playing in WALMART of all places (don’t judge us, please, we have small children, a tight budget, and steadily declining standards). He said it was a woman. I suspect it was Lorde.

The local PBS affiliated college radio station I sometimes listen to has an afternoon show that plays "eclectic" music for an hour. Mostly jazz, new age and world, deep Beatles or Dylan cuts, with the occasional My Bloody Valentine or Killing Joke thrown in to show that they know music has been made since 1970. They played Paul's "Sunrise Always Listens" yesterday. I think that's the first Paul I've actually heard on local radio since "Don't Tell A Soul" came out...

What a weird choice. Even I had just that one record, that would be the last song I'd play.

Yeah, gonna have to agree with Clams. Song bores the sunset, the lampshade, the TV, and my ears.

Live In Rotterdam, HollandIncredible slow-as-molasses version of "The Ledge" at about 12:25. Goosebumps. Tommy right before, "Anybody heard of us?" Nope.

That's always been my favorite live video boot. I still have my original VHS.

not really a sighting, but this is hilarious....surfing thru channels this evening, I ran across the oldies channel and caught a glimpse of the TV program information. It was Happy Days. The title of the episode? "A Star is Bored", season 2, episode 10. The air date was Dec. 3, 1974.

In season 4, episode 10 of the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, a portion of “Here Comes a Regular” is played. It happens pretty near the end of the episode, which is the final one of the entire series.

Worth watching to see how into it Zach Blair was. Too bad everyone else was doing some goofy shtick.
