I think that was Deadwood South Dakota, by Nancy Griffith.
Just off the top of my head, so I'm not sure.

Blast is correct, that is Deadwood, South Dakota. On the last leg of the Mats final tour opening for Elvis Costello, they played an amusement park in Bristol, CT. Paul belted a solo version of 'Deadwood" mid-set, and I distinctly recall watching Slim standing by the side of the stage, leaning his head back and loving the performance. True to Mats form, the full band followed that plaintive song with a thrashy punk run through "Anyway You Want It" by the Dave Clark Five....

She's a go-er sounds real familiar ... I'll ask around my brain cells and see if anybody remembers.
Edit: It's a Johnny Cash song, or a song Johnny Cash did, on a rockabilly album. It's on some later Mats boots too. And I think I remember trying to find out about it after maybe PW's 2002 tour. Something tells me it's an Australian phrase, originally.

The Johnny Cash songs seems to have different lyrics, so it's not that. The Replacements version has a line about Tasmanian Devils, so that could be the down under link.
