I'm still trying to figure out if I'm trying to talk myself into going, or out of going.
I really can't afford it, but I so don't want to miss it.

I'd be interested in seeing how he ends the tour, but alas, I can't make it either. i'll have to settle for the three shows too, but I still want more.
Since it's the last gig of the tour, I'm wondering if he'll try and do some songs that he didn't do, like Everything Goes Wrong or Wild and Lethal.

I'm trying to make it. I'll be pretty poor for a while but I'm thinking it will be worth it.

FaF, I think it's always worth it. I can truly say that Paul is the only performer today that I would go out of my way to see. I spent a lot of dough to see him, but it was certainly well worth it and I have no regrets. So what if it's PB&J and soup for the next month or two? All three shows I went to are chock full of great memories of the music.

Sounds to me like FreeRider just needs a little more nudging to go a little further into debt.
Since my boss said, "sure! you can have Monday off" and the oral surgeon said, "sure! you can fly after your Friday surgery" it looks like my mind is about 90% made up.

If you count the Pantages shows I've seen PW with this band 12 times already (here's where you back away slowly thinking I'm a freak). I've seen him on both costs and in the midwest.

Faf, yeah, when do your frequent flier miles kick in? I'd have thought you'd be able to get a free flight to Orlando for the tour finale! And no, you're not a freak; just an obsessive devoted fan, is all.

Well, if any of you do make it, I'd like to put faces to the usernames.
I'll be in from out of town myself, conveniently scheduling my visit to a friend to be able to see the last show. So if anyone else knows of a place to have a drink or something before hand I'd be grateful for the information.

FAF is my hero! & she's cool to get drunk with! Oh gravy what you missed out on after the second show, was quite the spectacle. We have to hit the bars again sometime. I guess it will probably be me in NYC before you in Mpls but it has to be done again. Faf, yeah, when do your frequent flier miles kick in? I'd have thought you'd be able to get a free flight to Orlando for the tour finale! And no, you're not a freak; just an obsessive devoted fan, is all I wish I had frequent flyer miles. The only place I flew to was NYC. The rest were all in the name of the great road trip.

ok, I've twisted my own arm - I'll be there. I just couldn't let myself miss it.
I know nothing about the area (haven't been there in - eegads - 30 years), but mapquest tells me that the Days Inn I've booked is 1.6 mile from the HoB.
Even though I'm new here, I'm hoping to get together with any other MWT'ers that make it to Orlando!

I've never stayed at the Grovsenor, but it gets great reviews. That Days Inn on the other hand (if it's the one on International drive I'm thinking of), not so much...

May you suffer gladly from your affliction and enjoy communing with other MWT'ers in Orlando. FreeRider ps, Marz is probably gonna regret not being there too.

Just got back. Never good at writing real informative reviews so I won't bother trying.
I enjoyed myself save the two drunk guys behind me, one who insisted in singing loudly off key, the other who kept screaming, "Play Footprints for Gary! Gary's Got a Boner! Vampires and Failures for Gary! Footprints for Gary's Got a Boner!!!" all the while on his phone with "Gary" complaining that there were no chicks to dance with him.
But yeah, other than that it was a great show made even better by hearing C'mon Little Bitch over the PA on the way out.
I hope everyone who attended had as much fun as I did and I hope someone is able to post a more informative review.

Got back a little while ago, have been telling my friends all about it.
Had never gotten to see Paul before and the show certainly lived up to my expectations. It was nice meeting the people I met prior to the show that were up front with me (didn't get any names), particular the 2 LA travelers and the Detroit travelers--that's hardcore dedication right there.
It was doubly nice to meet Paul and getting his 'graph on my 14 Songs liner notes.
Peace
