for me anyway: he's got the perfect band to play the crap out of all the seriously great rock songs on mono, and they're barely playing any of them. for my money, we should be hearing the following every single night of the tour:
let's not belong together in between love and like eyes like sparks and footsteps.

I would love more songs off Mono, especially since "AAA" just kills and gives us a glimpse of what we're missing.

You forgot Silent Film Star. The Lettermen performance was so awesome.
I'm bummed that they waited until the 2nd leg to add "Stain Yer Blood".
Easily one of my top 5 all time Mats/Westerberg songs.

I heard Everything Goes Wrong, right before the Columbus show...
Now if we can only get the live version......

He didn't play Chicago two nights. Also would love to have heard Silent Film Star.

M. Bland made that comment here that they weren't going to work up "Let's Not Belong" and I think "Between Love and Like" because Paul felt other songs did the same thing better.
In "Let's Not Belong's case, I wonder if the other song is "Different Drum."

Given the 2+ hours shows, with 30+ songs & the something for everyone theme, I'm happy. Imagine culling Waitress, Skyway, IWD, LOTD or AC ... and the ensuing bitch-a-thon. Would I have rather heard ... _____, than _____? Biggest disappointment: missing the charcoal dots in Columbus.

Biggest disappointment: missing the charcoal dots in Columbus. he didn't play iwilldare in chicago and as much as i thought i was going to cry, i made it through ok. i'd still love to hear that fucking river song though. and in milwaukee or maybe it was chicago we did an informal poll and we thought he should oust mr. rabbit love untold born for me in lieu of other songs that i cannot remember.

Only disappointment for me was that FAF didnt try hard enough to talk us into Louisville. of course that is hindsight.

If I never hear Eyes Like Sparks again, it will be too soon. It is the same riff over and over and what, like four lines? He has great things to say in all kinds of songs, and one catchy line here he says over and over, I think that song is way overrated.

i love eyes like sparks but seriously born for me should NOT come out of the set. it's a miracle that he's playing it and that they're getting the chord changes right. it's f'ing awesome.

You guys are spoiled rotten! The biggest disappointment of course is that he's not playing Toronto!!!!!! (Or Montreal, or Ottawa)

I would seize the day if not for my 4 and 6 year old children and full time job, all of which have the pesky little habit of preventing me from doing everything I would like to do!
