Milwaukee maybe. He played Madison in 2002 and, I think, 1996.

i'm pretty sure i have that show on some promo vinyl.... is that "don't buy or sell"? The 5 live songs on "Inconcerated" were recorded at the Univ of Wisconsin, Milwaukee - and the CD was copyrighted in 1989. (It was a promo for "Don't Tell A Soul.") The disc itself has been printed with a radio station logo: "The Rock & Roll Original WAPL FM106."

i'm pretty sure i have that show on some promo vinyl.... is that "don't buy or sell"? The vinyl is called "The Replacements Stink... But They're Fun to Listen to Live." I think it's only got about a third of the show on there with a fadeout on "Kiss Me on the Bus." I'm pretty sure there's a boot of the full show on CD somewhere. I saw the Mats at that show and earlier on the same tour at the Eagles Ballroom. Since then, I've only managed to catch Paul once on the last tour (in Chicago). I think I've been out of town every other time he came near here. So I'm really just continuing a long tradition by missing this one.

The disc itself has been printed with a radio station logo: "The Rock & Roll Original WAPL FM106." The "Inconcerated" CD was printed with the WAPL logo on it? That's weird. I live less than 2 miles from Appleton and I have NEVER heard that station play a Replacements song... Not even when "I'll Be You" was almost a hit with the general public.

My mind has officially been blown.
And liam, I thought you were going to do something about that Rick McNeal guy. What gives?

Did anyone get reserved balcony seats? Just wondering if they were really even available at any point. I called the Rave Friday night and asked if I have VIP balcony seats, can I still go to the floor and they said I could. Not sure why there is no difference in price then? But we got two in the second row balcony on Saturday morning. -Patrick PS: My copy on inconcerated has no radio logos. But I was at this show in '88. I remember seeing one of the BoDeans there just before the show.

That's alright Patrick - we'll all be standing on the floor flipping you the bird! The BoDeans. Did you see Sammy or Bobo? Man I hated those guys...
