Are you sure? Even for the Karl show. Granted it would be shitty to scalp a ticket for a Cancer benifit, but it is a dog eat dog world right. How's a guy supposed to get ahead?

i just looked on eBay outta curiousity and someone's asking $699 for three tickets. just think of the karmic implications of profitting from a benefit show. i can only imagine what kind of heinousness this person will come back as.

Is scalping legal in MN? Not that I would consider it (really), just curious.

In Minnesota it's illegal to resell a ticket for more than its face value. I'm not sure, but I think that means that the seller even has to eat the extras fees to stay legal. Police have gone undercover to nab scalpers outside some of the bigger sports events.
I'm not sure how Ebay gets around that when seller and buyer are both in the state. I guess the same way they get around sales tax.

Thanks, I guess I better sell my extras on here, for I at least want to recoup all the TM charges! I imagine they make more off the shows than PW.

Is the password worth anything? Is it sellable?

No, I wouldn't do that. I'd like the password, cause I hear you can still get VIP tickets if you've got the password. Thats all.

Someone was selling Paul's dad obit from the paper on ebay, a package deal with a bootleg. In case it escaped anyone's notice, people suck.

Here's another for balance:
Me & Mrs. Wolfdog went to the 2nd Guthrie show with 2 extra tickets I had won from Drive105. We stood out front looking for people wanting tickets and saw a group of 'pro' scalpers peddling their stuff. I approached a couple that was contemplating buying from the scalpers. I sold them my radio station pair for $20 total. Mr. Head-set-cell-phone-scalper gave me an evil look, and I went off with my twenty bucks to go buy some beers.

To bring things back down....
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Pictures of former Beatle George Harrison were taken from his sister's car while she was donating memorabilia to the Clinton Presidential Library, she said Monday.
Lou Harrison said someone shattered a window of her car and stole a briefcase containing photos of her and her brother and the lyrics to a number of her brother's songs.
"(The items are) precious to me obviously because I don't have my brother in person any more," she told KTHV-TV of Little Rock.
Harrison had driven from her southern Illinois home to donate memorabilia to the downtown Little Rock library, which is scheduled to open Nov. 18. She had taken most of the items to the library when she discovered the break-in.
Harrison asked Beatles fans to help her recover the pictures. "Maybe they could keep an eye on the Internet," she said.
Harrison said she decided to donated the items because she sees a connection between Clinton and The Beatles.
"I feel that really, Clinton is the Beatle president," Harrison said. "There's not enough things to leave for my grandchildren. So I thought maybe if I could house them at the Clinton Library, where they could be on display, that all the Beatle people could enjoy seeing them."
