Okay, I have no facts to substantiate this, nor do I believe it actually will come true. But just for fun during this downtime until the Folker release:
- As Kathy just announced, Paul is scheduled to play the Scala in London in mid-October.
- Last season on VH1's 'Band's Reunited' series, most of the reunion concerts took place at . . . the Scala.
- Tommy Stinson is scheduled to be touring Europe this fall with Jesse Malin, including some dates in the U.K. in October.
- VH1 is scheduled to air a new season of 'Bands Reunited' this fall.
You do the math . . .
Yes, I realize that a concert for VH1 would be way too cheesy a way for the Mats to reunite, and if a reunion show ever were to happen, everyone's bet is on it being in Minn. Then again, three of my all time favorite bands were featured on the VH1 series last year (Squeeze, Dramarama and the Alarm -- the last one being a guilty pleasure) and it was a real kick watching those shows, so it might not be that bad.

That would explain the misidentification in the British guy's "St. Paul" essay, part II. Mars is traveling under the stage name "Chris Mills," since he's been on a watch list ever since "Hand Grenades."
"It was all set ... "

" Jeremy's essay didn't mis-identify Chris, it was that article from a newspaper in Texas on "Mad About The Mats"
