I do think it's "charm foot".
& After "My Dad" this is the best tune on the record.

Agreed...laughing at myself now because 'chomped foot' sounds so darn ridiculous, although no lyrical guesses are really stretching it too far when it comes to Paul, of course.
What's a charm foot, anyways?

Good guess, and probably right on the money, too...I should've put two and two together here, especially with 'jack rabbit' being so close to the 'foot' reference.

"Cocksure!"
What is it in "Vampires and Failures" ... "cocksure and significant"?

Maybe "Gunshy" has something to do with Tommy and GnR.

Maybe "Gunshy" has something to do with Tommy and GnR. hey ... that fits! a lot of stuff here you'd find at a flea market or souvenir stand: -charmed foot (the jack rabbit's?) -pet rock -yellow snake in a can (that prank gift with the spring-loaded snake) -fruit jar -stopped clock -and Hard Rock, that is a souvenir stand, kinda I'm picturing a dusty roadside gas station/petting zoo, with a real Middle-Aged Human pacing in his cage

what does the line about the horse mean?
"From a dormitory, a former horse shit is being on Ajax"
or whatever it is ... Some twisted memory from his janitor days?
Wait a sec ... it sounds more like: "From a dormitory, a former whore, she's peeing on Ajax"

Like throwing horse shit out of a dorm window on some poor unsuspecting soul walking past? Does horsehit come out easier with Ajax than Clorox?

It's definitely not "horseshit." He says "former whore" for sure.
But why is she peeing on Ajax? Is that some kind of Hints from Heloise home pregnancy test? And she's peeing from a dormitory?
I need help making sense of this.

Last week I heard 'former horse shit', yesterday I heard 'form of horse shit, so by tomorrow I could be hearing 'former whore'. What does any of it have to do with being a rock star in a fruit jar?
And if the Ajax turns blue does she go back to her whoring ways?

I just saved you 1,000 listens. That's what this board is all about. And if the Ajax turns blue does she go back to her whoring ways? Depends on whether she actually graduated from the Paul Westerberg Academy of Romance and Answering Machine Repair.
