Are yall asleep at the switch? How can I sing it in the shower if I don't know the words ( oh wait , that's never stopped me before)
Here's a starter:
I'm in love with girl that doesn't exist

I can't wait to whip these out at the staff meeting this afternoon. Hey Boss, look what I did to day! I had to guess in a few places .........................................................................................
I’m in love with some one that doesn’t exist Keep looking for them everywhere I go I’m in love with something that doesn’t egg-gist, it doesn’t exist. As far as I know
I’m in love with a place that I never seen Once upon a place, long time ago I’m in love with a time that never took place, easy to trace As far as I know
I know everything Oh, that I need to sing I know everything Ooh mmm, mmm
I’m in love with a sound that I never hear As long as I watch your TV show I’m in love with that girl that doesn’t resist, that doesn’t exist As far as I know
As far as I know the stars in the sky are toes As far as I know [something] your rhizome As far as I know, ooh, ooh, ooh
I know everything I need to sing I know everything I re-sew, I’ll never, never know
I’m in love with a dream I had as a kid I’d wait up the street until you to show That dream it came true, but you never do, you never did As far as I know As far as I know

"As far as I know the stars in the sky are toes As far as I know [something] your rhizome" I've always heard, "...stars in the sky are blue As far as I know her(your) eyes are too" Anyone hear something else?

My 2 cents:
AS FAR AS I KNOW
I’m in love with someone that doesn’t exist Keep looking for them everywhere I go I’m in love with something that doesn’t get kissed It doesn’t exist As far as I know
I’m in love with a face that I’ve never seen Once upon a place long time ago I’m in love with a time that never took place There isn’t a trace As far as I know And I know everything that I need to sing I know everything
I’m in love with the sound that I never hear As long as I watch your TV show I’m in love with that girl who doesn’t resist That doesn’t exist As far as I know
As far as I know, the stars in the sky are down/brown/gone? As far as I know look into your eyes only? As far as I know
I know everything I need to sing I know everything I raise a gun, now that won’t hurt me none I’m in love with a dream I had as a kid I wait up the street until you show That dream it came true, but you never do No you never did As far as I know As far as I know As far as I know As far as I know

Who else but PW would insert the gun line into a song like this? The man can't let a pop song be a pop song.

rhizome: a rootlike stem lying on or underneath the ground, which usually sends out roots below and leafy shoots above. I had to look that up. I wouldn't expect Paul to use the word "rhizome" in a song, but he does garden. The stars as toes analogy doesn't make much sense either. Unless he's an amateur astronomer with a foot fetish.

Those lines were some that I had to 'guess' at. Unfortunately Kathy posted some much more plausible lyrics so we'll have to go with hers for the cannon.

This is the way I hear the bridge in "As Far As I Know":
As far as I know, the stars in the sky are gone As far as I know, they fell to your eyes only

I'm beginning to suspect that this debate will surpass the "fingernails and bacon" controversy First thing, tonight, I'm gonna pull out the demo and the finished track and listen repeatedly 'til I hear "toes." "Whose toes are those? Paul knows."
