Could a human being survive only on foodstuffs mentioned in PW and Mats songs?
(Thank God they covered "Cool Water"--that's a start)

That depends. Are people finally willing to concede bacon?

Could a human being survive only on foodstuffs mentioned in PW and Mats songs? (Thank God they covered "Cool Water"--that's a start) Well we could have popcorn for dinner, cheesecake, Sleepytime tea, gyros, birthday cake...beer for breakfast, red wine and coffee. That's way more than they get on "Survivor".

Well let's see...
On the Menu:
Coffee in the morning
Beer for breakfast & the ever important BBQ Chips.
For dinner Popcorn & cheesecake.
Red Red Wine on Sundays.
& cigarettes after our feast.
Not what I'd call healthy. But W/coffee & smokes covered, I think I could survive.

But W/coffee & smokes covered, I think I could survive. Better not be counting on Jesus for the smokes.

The indie-only Mats-era Westerberg lyric diet:
On Sorry Ma, you get: sugarless, Wondermint, twinkies, cola and beers. Stink: Burgers on the grill. Hoot: you pretty much starve. LIB: fingernails ... with bacon stuck under 'em.

You forgot the frozen pizza.
What song has "popcorn and cheesecake"? I'm drawing a blank.

You forgot the frozen pizza. What song has "popcorn and cheesecake"? I'm drawing a blank. "Bent Out of Shape" - "Popcorn for dinner, last night it was cheesecake, a little Sleepytime tea spiked with another heartache" We can add Singapore Slings and rum to the list as well. And don't forget handfuls of pills k.

gyro's are from Treatment Bound... that right? some live version? what's the line? otherwise, the lamb lives. Hootenanny does leave you hungry, though if you can't breath or swallow you do have more pressing concerns. Can you eat crawling kingsnake? Maybe JD and his fishing partner caught something ...

Scotch!
"Well I ordered a scotch as I bust through that door.."
Thank you thank you Paul Westerberg for covering the three important food groups - scotch, frozen pizza, and smokes.

How about wedding cake? "You're like a frosting, you just bought the cake." That would make birthday cake AND wedding cake. Yes, there is a difference.

We would also be allowed "something sweet and strong" which covers your mixed drinks, girlie drinks, and cough syrup.
I am thinking about this thread way too much.

That would make birthday cake AND wedding cake. Yes, there is a difference. Yep, about a few hundred bucks.
