Is that "rock and roll" they're saying over and over in the background at the end ... or "got me so"?
It always sounded like rock and roll to me, and I was trying to think of other songs by anybody that use that as a backing chant, but I think someone said it was really "got me so"

I'm on "Got Me All" because that's the line. Am I not taking this seriously enough?

Actually, this is VERY important. When we attend the concerts this spring/summer, all will want to be singing along. It would be quite confusing to have 1/2 the crowd singing "got me all" and the other to be on "lock me up". It could drive PW to screw up his own portion of the song. That would only spell disaster!

I always thought "lock me up". Gone nuts! But "got me all" works. I do prefer the gone nuts reference though. Evin PS - curious about lyrics in knockin' em' bahk. I'll see if there's another tread to spell it out. Or you'll see a new one.

Regular, buddy, but haven't you heard the people singing along at Westerberg shows? 1. Paul, mumbling sometimes, just plain changing the words sometimes 2. Lots of drunks mumbling 3. Lots of people who barely remember the oldies mumbling 4. and then I guess there is you.

Yes, but at least I haven't brought along typed out lyric sheets to share with PW when he forgets his lyrics. Thinking though, that could be a hoot, especially if I typed out the words as *I* heard them.
Someone did that at the Chicago in-store for Within your Reach. Too bad the guy didn't write in his own ad libs.
