This is a great song, and Paul does a great job covering it. Paul does change the words a little. It's amazing to think that he didn't write this song, it sure sounds like one of his.
These Days
Oh I been out walkin’ I don’t do too much talkin’ these days Oh these days, these days I seem to think a lot About the things that I forgot to do And other times I had the chance to
Well I’ll stop my ramblin’ I don’t do too much gamblin’ these days Oh these days, these days I seem to think about All the changes came about my way And now I wonder if I’ll ever see another highway
I had a lover I don’t think I’ll risk another these days These days, and if I seem to be afraid To live the life that I have made in song Well it’s just that I’ve been losing so long
I stopped my dreaming I won’t do too much scheming these days Oh these days, these days I sit on cornerstones And count the time in quarter-tones ‘til ten Please don’t confront me with my failures I had not forgotten them

I have to say that this song is gorgeous, and I totally forgot that it was a cover until you just mentioned it. It really does sound like one of his own.

Bad Bad Jackson Browne. Although I think Paul said the version he was really working off of was a cover Nico did.

It's a perfect album closer, too. I'm so glad he recorded it.
