'What is your damage, Heather?'
'Real life sucks losers dry.'
'You inherit five million dollars the same day aliens announce they're going to blow up the world in two days. What are you going to do with the money?'
'Bullemia is so '87.'
Sorry, Heathers is on USA.

How did they edit the chainsaw line? I've got the DVD but haven't watched in awhile. I tried to watch it with my 16 year old daughter to see if she saw the similarity to her own high school. She wasn't interested in watching a movie that her Dad may have liked. Funny when the teenage rebellion is directed at one of us!

oh! oh! this is one of my all time favorites. it came out while i was in the middle of high school. i think i have that movie memorized.
"you were a bluebird, you were a brownie, you were a girl scout cookie. you were nothing before i met you. you were playing barbies with betty jo finn. i got you into a remington party and what's my payback? its on the hall carpet. i got paid in puke." "lick it up baby, lick it up." "transfer to washington. transfer to jefferson. nobody at westerburg is gonna let you play their reindeer games."

I' ve seen bits and pieces of this for years; this is the first time I've watched it from beginning to end.
Yikes! Does comedy get any blacker?

The Johnny Depp movie "Dead Man" is pretty black. However, most people I show the movie to doesn't think it is very funny (My sense of humour is kinda twisted).
The scene with Gibby Haynes in the beginning is a classic. And Iggy Pop as a cross-dressing mother-like queer is pretty funny as well.
Damn... I hate it when this happens to a post! -------> "D" <-------

I' ve seen bits and pieces of this for years; this is the first time I've watched it from beginning to end. Yikes! Does comedy get any blacker? yes. the heathers that was released had a happy ending. the original ending was even blacker. with veronica and jd blowing up the school and having some sort of weird prom in heaven where there were no cliques or popular kids.

Alright, I got a stinkin phone call around the time JD saw Veronica hanging in her room. How does it end? I think I remember JD killing himself and Veronica taking over the school but I'm not sure.

veronica and jd battle it out in the boiler room, located beneath the gym where a big pep rally is going on, of the school. veronica wants to stop the bomb and jd wants to blow the school and everyone in it to kingdom come.
they battle and jd, thinking he's won, goes outside. minutes later veronica joins him on the steps. he lights a cigarette and says, "color me impressed."
then he blows himself up.
the end.
