If you listen carefully toward the end, he sings "you ain't got me ... yet!" Always got a chuckle out of that. Any other well-loved outros out there, where either the words or the vocal or the guitar or something tries something a little different during the fadeout?

How about when Tommy (Paul) tries to pick up the nurse in Tommy gets his tonsils out. "what are you doing later after the operation?"

How about when Tommy (Paul) tries to pick up the nurse in Tommy gets his tonsils out. "what are you doing later after the operation?" I always thought that line was delivered from the perspective of the doctor. "My cadillac's running...I tee off in an hour...Let's get this over with...etc." The whole song is from the disinterested perspective of the doctor. Tommy's just the scared little kid on the operating table.

Although it's not technically an outro. the ending to Everything Goes Wrong is brilliant!!
"Where was it - San Francisco? Well, they have hired security now...for your protection."

I thought "Love You Till Friday" was "Call you later." I have always loved that line.
How about towards the end of Nobody - "And I used to be nobody..."

Always love the turn around at the very last moment of the song:
she's achin to be...... just like me.
They were gonna meet... on a crummy little street... we were gonna meet....

Paul seems to like changing the perspective of a song in the final verse/chorus/outro, by doing things like switching from third person, to first person perspective...
It gives the songs a nice personal feel, and leaves you wondering if the song is complete fiction, or somewhat autobiographical.

I've always taken that as a wink that the song was somewhat autobiogrqaphical, while acknowledging the temptation to hide behind the third person narrative.. but I tend to read too much into those type of things

He was talking about how he had to fight the record company for the fadeout on "Love Untold", but then added that he'd probably used that same POV twist a few too many times already.

KCRW broadcast of "We May Be the One" ends with, "I doubt it."
I want to say this was the Irving Plaza show from last year, "Lush and Green" ending with "looking out forever"
"Jefferson's cock" said at the end of "Androgynous".
The guitar at the end of "Homelesssexual", which made me like the song in the first place.

The guitar at the end of "Homelesssexual", which made me like the song in the first place. Yeah, there's lots of musical innovation in outros too
