Was Don-somebody the producer on “Suicaine Gratifaction”? Yes, Don was. Don who? Not Don Ho, Don Was. Was what? Was the producer. Don was? Yeah, Don Was. So it was Don who? It was Don, but not the Who. But who is credited in the liner notes? Well, they shouldn’t have been. Only Was. The Only Ones? Paul and Don were the only ones. Playing “Another Girl …”? No, they cover that on “Don’t Buy or Sell, It’s Crap?” It’s crap? It’s on “All for Nothing” too. I mean, the cover’s crap? Depends on if you like sinking ships. Beats “Tim,” anyway. OK, then who produced “Tim?” Tommy from the Ramones. I thought “Tommy” was from The Who. He was the replacement. Oh, Tommy Stinson then. No, another Tommy. He replaced Alex Chilton. OK, Tommy-somebody was the producer of “Tim.” Right. And you know who was the producer of “Suicaine Gratifaction.” Don was? Right! “Pleased to Meet Me”? Not really, to be frank. Frank? No, it was Jim. Jim who? I don’t know. He did Big Star’s “Third.” He’s on “Third”? No, he’s on “Wild Horses.” He produced “Third.” Jesus Christ! Yep, that’s on “Third” Who’s on “Third”? Alex Chilton. OK, so Alex Chilton is on “Third.” No, “Alex Chilton” is on “Pleased to Meet Me.” Oh, never mind. Yeah, that too. I don’t know. Now you’re talking! Let’s just let it be. That was Steve, Paul and Peter. I suppose you know all of the producers? No but hum a few bars of “Springtime for Hitler” and I’ll fake it …
