Are there other photos (on the web somewhere) similar to the one on the cover of the "How Did the Vomit Get on the Ceiling" bootleg (this version of it, anyway: colormeimpressed.com/covers/mats_vomitontheceilinga.jpg), possibly from the same photo session? I could've sworn that I downloaded (about a year ago) a jpeg of the Mats in their technicolor plaid suits, standing in a hotel lobby (I think). But now I can't find it, either on my hard drive or on the web. It was a really cool shot. I hope I didn't dream it. Does someone have a link? Am I nuts?

That's really good. I'm going to buy a Scout album.

I heard the Westerberg version of "Nowhere Man" at Traci-Scott Salon in Houston while waiting to get a haircut this morning.
I still haven't figured out how to get Paul hair.

"later-period Soul Asylum fronted by Charles Nelson Reilly." That's the funniest thing I've heard all day. I just woke up, but still...

"Don't Sleep in the Subway" would be a perfect companion to "Skyway". Did the Replacements ever cover that? I imagine them (or Paul) doing that song every time I hear it. I like the song.

Is Kiss Me On the Bus from that show available on the web somewhere? I have a VHS copy of the Comedy Central version of that show, but it doesn't include both songs. While we're at it, I also need the Stones doing Respectable on SNL in '78 or so.
Not that anyone cares, but Knockin' On Mine remains my all time favorite SNL performance, by anyone. The recording I made in '94 when it first aired sounded great, but that tape is about to wear out. I've since recorded it from the Comedy Central rerun, but it sounds like it's mixed differently and doesn't sound nearly as good. Does anyone know why it would change between NBC and Comedy Central? Both were broadcast and recorded in stereo.

As opposed to what? That's what he says. Isn't it?

The solo in Runaway Wind could possibly be one of the best of all time by anybody ever. It's definitely one of my favorites.
