Groovy! Have to admit though that I'm more pumped for ol' Dead Man! LOVED Giles' White Album remix, but Abbey Road, for whatever reason, has never been one of my favs. Sue me!
What do you suppose is Paul's favorite Beatles record? Revolver?

What do you suppose is Paul's favorite Beatles record? Revolver? If I had to guess which would be his favorite, I'd guess Revolver or Rubber Soul. Both are more sophisticated than the albums that came before them, but also retain the "pop" quality in many ways. Hard to beat getting The Beatles and Replacements on the same day....if only the Beastie Boys and Waylon Jennings had something released on that day....I'd be out of money!

Reading the last few comments about Paul made me think of that classic SNL skit: Chris Farley (as interviewer) to Paul: "Remember when you were in The Beatles?"

LOVED Giles' White Album remix, but Abbey Road, for whatever reason, has never been one of my favs. Sue me! I also love the new Martin remix of The White Album. And especially the Sgt Pepper one, both doing away with the hard left/right separation of tracks. Pepper's new remix blew me away, I got rid of all of my older "stereo" CDs, and sonically bringing the albums to full fruition. It would be nice if someone did that for Tim
