When is Paul going to start touring again? It's been like 6 years? I saw him in 2005 in Minneapolis and it was awesome and I swore I'd see him every time he played again....I'm still waiting. I live in the same town as the dude yet I may as well live in New York for as often as he plays. There have been a few small things around town the last few years but you had to be a vip to see those. So, when will the common folk like us again be able to hear the songs played by the man himself?

I think only Paul could answer this question. If you ever run into him you should pose it.

It's getting to the point that this question should be in the - Philosophical Musing-of-the-day Thread.

I'm going to keep insisting that he will never play live again, because when I make unqualified overstatements like that, I'm usually proven wrong...

Well, The Cars are touring again. Perfect opportunity for a Let The Good Times Roll / Let The Bad Times Roll double bill. I bet The Cars would be a great backing band for Paul. Like that tour with Tommy and The Figgs. Has anyone raised the suggestion with management yet?

He's never going to play live again, ever...He hates it...At this point, I'm starting to have my doubts about any more albums, either...

He's never going to play live again, ever...He hates it... Unfortunately, you're probably right. Even if he does decide to do a few shows Texas is very far from MN. I seriously doubt I will ever see him again.

I seriously doubt I'll get to see him ever, in which I can only eloquently describe as sucking a big one.

I'm going to say "never" also, my thought being that Paul hates being predictable so as soon as we all assume he'll never tour again, he will immediately hit the road.
I was channel surfing during dinner and came across Wilco's "Ashes of Aercian Flag" on Sundance and it made me so so so so happy. And made me realize that I'm lucky that at least one of my most-loved musicians DOES tour!
