No way I could of made the trip form NYC, but still... I hope the rest of MWT folkers get a chance to all get together, get drunk & if he's around.. maybe we'll let ol Westy play a tune. If it's in the northeast I'm down!

this is what this whole story reminds me of: that feeling you get on christmas* morning. surprise, excitement, wonder.
how often do you get to feel that as an adult?
very cool.
*or generic non-denominational recognition day of your choice

I, of course, am the character that gets caught in the situation of 'somebody playing it safe' and misses the climax:)
Like:
Don Johnson in Tin Cup Uncle Owen in Star Wars Gary Sinese in Apollo 13 Aiden Quinn in Legends of the Fall

Has someone posted WHAT HAPPENED yet? I think I've looked everywhere on this damn site and I'm not a damn sight closer to figuring it out. There's a short story called "The Blue Hotel" by Stephen Crane. Who will write "The Brown Hotel"? And quick? If you know the Crane story, I think Paul's the Swede. Brilliant! Who gets to be Johnnie Scully?

This is one of the best stories I've ever read...ever. And, I mean that. I do...I really do.

How lucky for you guys! How sweet of Paul to play that couple Born For Me...that is one of my favorite songs, I would have been sh**ing myself if I'd been there. ;D
