 3oclockreep - CD Artwork
« Thread Started on Sept 1, 2008, 12:09am »

Made some custom artwork for the latest PW release:

(to save the images above in their full size, left click on image, then right click, and scroll down to "Save Image As...")

If you use the CD burning program EAC, you can use the cue sheet below to help separate 3oclockreep into individual tracks. You just have to add the Finally Here Once MP3 to the end of the 3oclockreep MP3 in an audio editing program (I used Cool Edit Pro). Then save the joined MP3 files as a WAV file called "Range.wav." Copy and paste the cue sheet below into "Notepad" and save as "PW_3oclockreep.cue" in the same folder as the WAV file. Then open EAC and click on the CD/pen icon in the bottom left. Now you just have to open the cue sheet and burn your CD.

If you don't have EAC you can download it for free here: http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/en/index.php/resources/download/

I would recommend following a setup guide like this one after downloading it: http://proverb.sitesled.com/lossless/

EAC is the best CD ripping/burning program available so it's definitely worth getting.

I've made a blow-up of the tiny image, for use as front cover, for those who prefer less. Blowing up such a tiny image causes tons of problems as all the compression artifacts are magnified, but I've used a variety of techniques to eliminate or minimize those artifacts and make it look better, albeit somewhat painting-like. Probably only suited for using as one's iTunes art (though I'll include a printable sized one too if you want to try it).

update: see my follow up note below

Is there any way to then import this into Itunes as split tracks other than burning the disc and re-importing it?

Hey I just noticed the cover I enlarged was totally unneccesary since the cover art is embedded in the download. I hadn't imported it into iTunes until today, and that's when I saw it, clear and high res already. Nevermind!
